Promoting my book
The purpose of this blog is to promote my first book, "Heaven Help the Single Christian," published by Regina Orthodox Press. This is a humorous advice book for single Christians who are a little disappointed by the slim pickings at church.
This book got started as a series of articles posted here on this blog, and with the help of comments from the readers here, I edited and re-edited it a whole bunch of times and eventually turned it into a book.
I'll be publishing snippets from the book, and I'll be putting up posts about my efforts to promote the book through speaking events, going to conferences, etc.
One disclaimer I should put up here: I'm not in ministry, per se, with what I'm doing here. This is a book to entertain and maybe help your spiritual life, but I'm not going on some soul-saving tour with the book or anything. And, if you're interested in inquiring about Orthodox Christianity, I'd like to refer you to the Orthodox Church in America.
If you're looking for the old format with the Table of Contents with all the articles, I'm sorry to disappoint you, but I took that down, for two reasons: One, they weren't all that good in their earlier format. And two, if you want to read about that stuff, you could buy the book and make this author very, very happy!
